I always find it useful to see what tools other web developers are using to make their sites better, which is why I'd like to share the resources with you that I have used when making nathanlittleton.co.uk.
WordPress
The famous open-source content management system powers my blog. It's highly-customisable and is used to power some of the world's biggest, bestest websites.
SimpleViewer
A Flash/XML-based gallery viewer. It's nice and lightweight, and the layout and colours can be customised easily.
Jeroen Wijering's FLV Player
A robust flash video player which, much like SimpleViewer, can be customised easily to adapt to your website.
Jason Beddard Photography
I had the privilege of working with Jason last year - he's an enthusiastic guy and a superb photographer. He's the man behind some of my personal photos on this site.
Fam Fam Fam: Silk Icons
1000 gorgeous 16x16 web icons, and all as free as speech.
Simple Pie RSS
A brilliantly easy-to-use PHP class, making my blog syndication in the sidebar a simple task. You can try the demo here.
Last.fm Image Chart
My 'Recent Tracks' chart is powered by Last.fm - they take music very seriously. The chart style is my own handy work.
