So, I predicted that 2010 promised to be an eventful year, and it hasn’t disappointed quite yet. My business interests have developed dramatically in several directions, with some huge developments still to come in the rest of 2010.

Soon will also see the launch of the new Future Visions website. I’m estimating it will see the light of day by mid-April. Unfortunately, my copywriter went dark recently, so that’s put a delay on the site that was set to be launched on March 1st.

At the end of August, Nic and I enlisted the help of Craig Ross for the Simply Associates photoshoot, the purpose of which was to get photos for the new website and marketing materials. But also, Nic and I both needed photos for our own other things. We popped into central Birmingham early one Sunday morning (Nic and Craig earlier than I, in fact) and dotted ourselves around taking pictures in all manner of serious and happy looking poses. After three or four hours, and around 300 photographs later, we got what we needed. You can see the results on Nic’s Flickr set.

Lots of new things are happening, all of which I’m very excited about!

So, I’m finally getting back into devving resources for the Online Resource Centre I’m working on with Nic. I tend to put off long term work for some reason, despite seeing its value. But having created the website template a relative long time ago, I’m making a solid start on the third lesson in the course: Design Concepts.

I’m snowed under with lots of different work now, not that I’m complaining. I’m on a roll, baby

I’m not sure what it is, but the concept of proper blogging just seems to pass me by. I’ve started quite a few blogs now, and every time I’ve thought “I’m sure this one will be different; I have loads to say,” but every time, the few visitors my blogs get are disappointed by an incredible lack of freshness. I’ve even surprised myself this time.
